HERE’S KOCO KYLIE THOMAS, TEN PEOPLE ARE BEHIND BARS AFTER TWO MARIJUANA GROW. FARMS WERE ROBBED AND ONE MAN KILLED. AND TODAY OSBI SAID ONE MAN LINKS THOSE TWO VIOLENT CRIMES TOGETHER. THE ATTACKS WERE VERY SUDDEN. THE BREAK INS WERE VERY VIOLENT. UH, LOTS OF PROPERTY DAMAGE AND SOME PERSONAL INJURY INVOLVED IN IT. ON JANUARY 7TH, A MARIJUANA FARM IN OKFUSKEE COUNTY WAS HIT IN WHAT THE SHERIFF CALLED A TACTICAL ATTACK, WHICH LEFT A 53 YEAR OLD MAN SHOT TO DEATH. THIS WAS A BRUTAL AND IN MY WORDS, A TACTICAL ENTRY TO THIS GROVE. JUST 20 DAYS LATER, ANOTHER GROW FARM ROBBERY. BUT THIS TIME IN STEPHENS COUNTY. WE BEGAN INVESTIGATING THE RESPONDING TO VIOLENT ARMED ROBBERIES IN AUGUST OF 2023. UH, WE CONTINUED FOR THE NEXT FIVE MONTHS TO HAVE PROBLEMS. OSBI BEGAN INVESTIGATING THE TWO CRIMES AND ZONED IN ON A GROUP OF SUSPECTS TRYING TO ESCAPE AT THE DFW AIRPORT IN TEXAS. UM, THE FIRST SET OF ARRESTS WERE MADE DOWN IN TEXAS. UM, MULTIPLE AGENCIES DOWN IN TEXAS. UM, THE RANGERS, DALLAS POLICE DEPARTMENT, UM ALSO THE STEPHENS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE, UM, WORKED TO LOCATE THESE SUSPECTS AND ARREST THEM. THEY WERE CHARGED, UM, AND IN CONNECTION WITH THE CRIME AND THE BREAK IN THERE IN STEPHENS COUNTY TWO DAYS AGO, AUTHORITIES ARRESTED FOUR SUSPECTS IN OKLAHOMA CITY FOR THE MURDER AT THE OKFUSKEE GROVE FARM. BUT ACCORDING TO OSBI, A FIFTH SUSPECT WAS AT BOTH CRIMES. 50 YEAR-OLD YE LEE. THIS IS STILL AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION, YOU’RE ASKED TO CALL OSBI.

Law enforcement arrested 10 suspects in connection with robberies at two marijuana grow sites earlier this year in Oklahoma, one of which resulted in a victim's death.Get the latest news stories of interest by clicking here.On Jan. 7, the Okfuskee County Sheriff's Office asked the OSBI to help investigate a homicide at a property near State Highway 48 and East 1020 Road near the town of Castle.
